Hurricane Ida knocks out power to more than 1 million as system moves inland

Tropical Storm Ida kept over 1 million people in the dark Monday morning, a day after its torrential march as a hurricane through Louisiana. The weakened system still threatens a dangerous storm surge threat to southern Mississippi and Alabama this morning.
