Medical examiner identifies prisoner who died after ‘use of force’ by officers at Lake prison

A 51-year-old man serving a four-year sentence for showing a knife to a Target security guard after shoplifting died Friday after a “use of force” incident at Lake Correctional Institution involving multiple prison officers.
